“I was thrilled to be a part of this group show featuring artists from the Curious Forge and other area painters and sculptors. 

Seven Stars Gallery is in the historic Odd Fellows building in Nevada City, CA--a beautiful, welcoming space reflecting members' commitment to community with ongoing exhibits, classes and performances throughout the year.

In that spirit, I elected to show paintings that captured broad subjects, from abstract landscapes and figurative work to interiors and industrial scenes. 

My two-dimensional paintings took on a new life hanging in a room just humming with brilliant three-dimensional work from the Forge folks.

Meredith Manning lives, paints, and writes in Grass Valley, California where her representational and abstract paintings and assemblages are created using acrylics, mixed media and found objects.
